"The black/purple-colored, full-bodied, ripe 2005 La Presa Petite Sirah reveals aromas of lead pencil shavings, blackberries, cassis, licorice, and tar. The tannins
are somewhat elevated, but they are well-balanced by the wine's concentration. Give it 1-2 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following decade."

"Possessing the most nuances and complexity is the full-bodied 2004 Syrah La Presa Vineyard. Aromas of blueberries, creosote, charcoal, acacia flowers, and blackberries emerge from this thick, unctuously-textured, rich Syrah. It should evolve well for 8-10 years."

"The huge, opaque purple 2004 Petite Sirah exhibits full-bodied, heady notes, sweet tannin, plenty of toasty oak, and enormous concentration as well as extract. Given Petite Sirah's anti-oxidant characteristics, it should age effortlessly for 15-20 years"
